The program is an educational and marketing tool for building owners and occupants to learn how they can reduce their impact on our natural resources and foster sustainability in their properties while gaining community awareness of their efforts.
The Green Space Project™ (or GSP for short) is an acronym for Growing Responsibility and Enriching our Environment through Naturally Sustainable Practices And Community Education. GSP buildings are designed to provide immediate economic, environmental, and social impact on their surroundings. The goal of The Green Space Project™ is to help you understand how your small choices in your new or existing building or facility can have a dramatic impact on the environment immediately and for the long term. Our stewardship of the resources that we have and our use of new technology are both imperative to the success of our planet in the future.
We believe everyone should have the privilege to contribute to the adoption of green building practices. We also know that a LOT of people making SMALL changes can have a greater impact on our environment than a few people making large changes. That's why we have developed the
1 plus 1=Millions initiative
The 1 plus 1=Millions initiative says that if 1% of all buildings will reduce electricity and water usage by 1% we will save millions in kilowatt hours of electricity and water consumption.
