Documentation Requirements

The predominant building certification systems require extensive documentation that is expensive, redundant, and contrary to the adoption of green building practices. The Green Space Project™ has alleviated this problem by requiring documentation that is readily available and makes common sense. Documentation that is acceptable for GSP certification has been reduced to:

Before and after pictures of the areas in question
Purchase orders
Affidavit of installation of applicable product

Extensive review of large paper trails and third party onsite verification are counterproductive and only serve to increase costs to the building owner for no reason. For example, an owner who says he has replaced 50 old HVAC units with 50 new ones and produces a purchase order for those 50 units does not need further verification. We find it improbable that an owner would spend the money to purchase something and not utilize it. This is a major difference and benefit to using GSP over other rating systems. Again, it is looking at the process from a real world perspective and not a beaurocratic entanglement. This perspective allows GSP to afford the greatest impact to the environment and building owners at the lowest cost unlike other rating systems.

Register your project today to receive the assessment. Complete the simple process and submit it back to us via email at certification@thegreenspaceproject.com and it will be evaluated for compliance within 10-14 days.
